Elad Vardi

Elad Vardi holds a bachelors degree in computer science and an MBA degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Currently he is a teaching assistant in the Internet Studies department.

He is working with Dr. Lev Muchnik focusing on developing an exploration system using processed data from Wikipedia activity to identify things and events that occurred and to identify the cause of these events. He has extensive knowledge in the field of business management and internet development.

Dr. Lev Muchnik

Lev Muchnik is a senior lecturer at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, School of Business Administration, Internet Studies Department. Between 2008 and 2012, he was Senior research scientist at the Information, Operations Management and Statistics Department of the Leonard N. Stern School on Business at New York University. Lev earned his Ph.D. in Physics from Bar Ilan University. His expertise lies in the collection and analysis of massive data sets representing large-scale social systems, and their modeling using tools borrowed from social sciences and statistical physics.
